Scholar and Author Describes First-Hand Account of Israeli

 Life After October 7

Picture
For Immediate Release (Arlington, TX) — As he has done for over two decades, Dr. Jeffrey Johnson has made several trips to Israel over the past couple of years, feeding children as well as Holocaust survivors and families. It was in the same area where he typically travels that the attack of October 7, 2023 took place.  In his new book, “50 Days With God,” Dr. Johnson makes clear the role that God has given to Israel both in the past and the present.

“The greatest spiritual battle is happening right now in Israel,” says Dr. Johnson. “October 7 was a big labor pain that is setting the stage for Gog and Magog. I sat and talked with a Captain in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). She asked me directly one day, ‘Why do people hate Israel so much?’ When October 7 happened, it only took one month for the news media to start blaming Israel, and only nine months later for the whole world to blame Israel. Israel has always been at the crossroads of the great empires: Assyria, Babylonia, Egypt, Greece, and Rome. Israel has been God’s testing ground of faith and is still the place where God shows his miraculous power to sustain and bless his ancient people.”

Dr. Johnson has been privy to some information that most U.S. news organizations have ignored. And he says, it was chilling.

“I have been shown surveillance footage the IDF had of some of the most grotesque things Hamas has done,” says Dr. Johnson. “I spoke with Yarden Bibas whose wife and sons were brutally murdered and their bodies paraded around in a macabre ceremony led by the Hamas terrorists as the world watched in horror. Americans simply don’t understand the devastation of the October 7 attack. There are 9 million people in Israel. If the United States were attacked proportionally the same as Israel was attacked on October 7, 40,000 Americans would have been killed. They would have taken 10,000 U.S. hostages, 1100 of whom would be children. October 7 was like having ten 9/11 attacks on U.S. soil.”

Dr. Johnson says “50 Days With God” is a book that will help Christians intersect Jewish traditions with the biblical Hebrew language to better understand their faith and its connection with Israel.

“Scripture reveals that certain events will take place in the latter days that pertain to Israel,” says Dr. Johnson, who is also a scholar of Bible Prophecy. “The clock is ticking down so as Christians we must be alert, look up, watch, and pray. When you pray for the peace of Jerusalem, you are praying for the Kingdom to come. The bible prophets foretold that Israel would become a ‘burdensome stone for all the peoples.’ Antisemitism has increased over 500% and is now globally worse than during World War 2. Even our ministry has been receiving hate mail, and many churches and colleges have provided security details in the last couple of years during my speaking engagements.”

Dr. Johnson says 50 days has an important symbolic meaning.

“In Scripture, every 50 years after seven Sabbath years, the Jubilee is celebrated as a year of release, rest, and forgiveness,” says Dr. Johnson. “The word ‘jubilee’ comes from the Hebrew word ‘yobel,’ which means ‘ram’s horn.’ The Jubilee was marked by the blowing of a ram’s horn trumpet to signal the beginning of the year. The number 50 represents a release from debts and burdens, and a new start. As the world grows more chaotic on a daily basis, I hope this book serves as a reminder of Lamentations 3:21-23 — that when the sun comes up each morning, we all get a do-over.”
